⭐ Continuous Provision at Newhall Infant and Nursery School

“Play is the highest form of research.”
    Albert Einstein

At Newhall Infant and Nursery School, continuous provision is central to our approach to teaching and learning. It provides children with consistent, high‑quality resources that enable them to explore, investigate and learn independently. These resources remain available over time, giving children the freedom to revisit concepts, deepen understanding and build confidence through purposeful play.

Our learning environments—indoors and outdoors—are thoughtfully designed to offer rich, child-led, play-based experiences that nurture curiosity, independence, resilience and a love of learning.

    🌼 Reception Continuous Provision

    Shared Indoor & Outdoor Spaces

Our Reception continuous provision is shared across both classrooms and our Early Years outdoor area, which we use alongside our Nursery. These spacious, well-resourced areas allow children to move freely, make choices, and follow their interests. Staff work collaboratively across the phases to support all children as they explore and discover.
