AHOY, SUNNYSIDE FAMILIES! Get ready to set sail for an unforgettable afternoon as our Summer Fair returns... and this year, we're heading to... TREASURE ISLAND! Thursday 18th June Fair starts at 1:30pm School finishes early at 1:10pm Non-uniform day on the day of the fair – pirate dress-up is VERY much encouraged! (We can't wait to see all our amazing mini pirates back in action! ) Collect your little pirates and join us for an afternoon packed full of swashbuckling fun! Our school will be transformed into a pirate paradise with lots to explore and enjoy, including: Walk the Plank Pirate Tattoo Parlour Kick the Cannon Ball Splash the Pirate Treasure Hunts ...and plenty more hidden surprises! HELP US PREPARE! We are also holding a non-uniform day on Friday 12th June We kindly ask for donations of: Sweets Bottles (grown-up treasure!) These will help us create some amazing tombola prizes

Sunnyside-on-Sea Update! We're keeping a close eye on the weather and the sunshine is on its way! We'll let you know as soon as possible whether Sunnyside-on-Sea will take place at the end of this week or the beginning of next week Thank you for your patience – we can't wait for a fun-filled beach day!

MRS WHITE'S HEADTEACHER'S AWARD! This week's award goes to Levi! Levi has been working incredibly hard on his phonics at home, and it's showing in his amazing progress we are so impressed! What a fantastic effort, Levi keep up the brilliant work!

Reception had a pawsome time today! We were very lucky to welcome a dog handler into school today! The children loved looking at photos of all the amazing dogs they look after at the Ministry of Defence The excitement didn't stop there... the children even got to try on some of the specialist equipment, including protective vests and the dog training arm sleeve What a fantastic, hands-on experience – lots of smiles and curiosity!

SEND Support Session for Parents & Carers We are pleased to welcome an advisor from NB Hubs who will be attending to provide free information, support and guidance around Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (both pre and post diagnosis). This is a relaxed and informal opportunity to: Ask questions Seek advice Find out what support is available Our SEND parents and carers are warmly invited to attend!
