Promoting positive excellent attendance is the responsibility of the whole school community.
All pupils should be at school, on time, and every day the school is open, unless the reason for the absence is unavoidable.

In September 2013, the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 came into force. These regulations state that Headteachers must not grant leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Parents and carers must submit any requests for leave in advance using our online form, before making any travel or holiday arrangements. Each request will be considered individually.
Please be aware that a Penalty Notice may be issued if a pupil takes leave that has not been authorised.
Our school defines “exceptional circumstances” as events that could not reasonably have been foreseen, and for which there was insufficient time to take the necessary action to prevent the situation. Holidays, travel arrangements, or cost-related issues do not meet this definition.
Thank you for supporting us in promoting good attendance for all pupils.
