🌟 Welcome to Sunnyside – home of Newhall Infant and Nursery School! 🌟

Our school is a large and friendly infant and nursery school located in South Derbyshire, an area rich in history 🏺⛏️, with strong roots in coal mining and pottery.

🏫 A school has stood proudly on the Sunnyside site since 1895, when the former Newhall Council School was first built. After a long and passionate campaign, we moved into our modern school building in September 2001 (officially opened in November 2001 🎉). 

💖 We are incredibly proud of our school and hope our website gives you a real flavour of the exciting, vibrant and happy experiences that take place here every day. The progress and achievements of every child are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to helping all learners reach their full potential 🌱✨.
